Please try again later. Verified Purchase. This book has over pages that cover Web Aps and only about basic information pages on desktop applications. Screen shots were very light and very difficult to see. Web Aps are only available to people who have access to a share point server, SQL server, so that Access can be shared on the net.
I do not recommend this book unless you are planning on writing Web Aps. I wish I had time to work through it as I intended, but this will have to wait a few months. These books provide an easy to use way to learn the software. The Access one fits right into that model and assumes no prior knowledge of the Access database product.
By chapter 2 anyone can be building databases and creating simple tables. One chapter teaches how to create forms, which can be used for many things, including helping someone input data. There are easy to follow instructions on creating reports, running queries and exporting your data for use elsewhere.
Easy to use and easy to read with lots of screenshots who those who are more visual learners. One person found this helpful. I have used Access for many years. This book is for beginners and for people like me who want a review and see the new features of Access Great reference.
